Knights At War Team Speak Rules
1.
Users must use a push
to talk button.
If you can get away with us not noticing
voice activation is on, its ok, but
voice activation can cause echo and excess background
noise with a sensitive
microphone or noisy sound card. If you're deemed to be causing a
problem, you
will be asked to setup a push-to-talk button, muted and/or kicked.
2.
Do not set up
Team speak to say "cool" or "funky" things when you log in or change channels.
You will be kicked from the server if you do.
3. Do not change channels repeatedly this is very distracting for others who have their "announcements" turned on.
4. Server Admin ( SA ) status is granted to just that.
5. When registering with the
team speak server use your in game name so that you are not
accidentally deleted from the registered user data base.
6. Music is not to be played over team speak unless in the music channel.
7.
Try to keep it
clean. Swearing is not explicitly disallowed, but keep it appropriate for the
users
who are on, and don't be completely vulgar.
8. Racism is strictly prohibited.
9. Do not log in to team
speak altering your name to appear that you have
user rights that you do not. Example: adding (SA) to the end of you Nick name.
10.
Conduct on Team Speak needs to
be respectful of others that are online (i.e. Whining, Complaining
and
Annoying chatter) needs to be kept at a minimal level. Harassing, Picking on
other members and
foul language should always be exercised with caution as
not to offend or hurt anyone’s feelings.
All members are expected to utilize
“Button Activation” versus “Voice Activation” so to avoid background
noises
not related to the game play. All members are expected to exercise channel
courtesy to members
that may already be in game play in a different game or
game type for instance several members are
playing in BH2 and others decide
to play in BH4 those members should use another channel as a means
of
communicating with other KW members in that game type, personnel playing a
different game other
than BHD should use the perspective TS Channel for that
game type while playing as a group, single
game players may use what ever
channel they wish as long as they do not disturb others in that channel.
It
is everyone’s responsibility to adhere to these expectations, as well as the
responsibility of all Sr.
members to set the example and address any issues
that may arise.
